Storekeeper – Job Description (With Computer Skills)Main Duty:

Manage tools and materials, keep the store organized, and enter all data into the computer system accurately.

Daily Work Details1. Receiving Items

  • Receive new tools/materials.
  • Check quantity and condition.
  • Enter items into the computer (Excel or inventory system).

2. Organizing the Store

  • Arrange items neatly on shelves.
  • Label all tools and materials.
  • Keep the store clean and locked.

3. Issuing & Returning Items

  • Issue items only after recording in the computer.
  • Record:
  • Name of staff
  • Item taken
  • Date & time
  • Check returned items, then update the system again.

4. Stock Control

  • Update stock balance daily.
  • Make weekly reports from the computer.
  • Inform the manager when something is running low.

5. Reporting

  • Prepare simple reports:
  • Items received
  • Items issued
  • Missing or damaged items
  • Send daily or weekly reports by email/WhatsApp.

Required Computer Skills

  • Basic Excel (entering data, simple tables)
  • Using Google Sheets or any stock system
  • Typing and updating lists
  • Saving files and organizing folders
  • Sending emails

Personal Skills

  • Honest and responsible
  • Organized
  • Can read and write
  • Good communication

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
