JOB PURPOSE
A storekeeper is responsible for managing inventory, overseeing the receipt and storage of goods, and ensuring efficient operations within a storeroom or warehouse.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to speak and understand English language
Previous experience working as a Storekeeper

Essential Job Functions
· Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, monitor inventory movements, and conduct regular stock counts to ensure accuracy.
· Receiving and Inspecting Goods: Receive incoming shipments, inspect for quality and quantity, and verify against purchase orders.
· Storage and Organization: Organize the storeroom layout for efficient storage and easy retrieval of items, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
· Order processing: Prepare and dispatch orders for delivery, ensuring timely fulfilment of requests from internal departments or customers.
· Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, withdrawals, and adjustments, using inventory management software.
· Supplier Coordination: Communicate with suppliers to manage orders, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
· General maintenance: Keep the storeroom clean and organized and assist in minor repairs or maintenance of equipment as needed.
