Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and organized Store Keeper to manage inventory, material issuance, stock records, and store operations for construction and development projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling construction materials and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies
- Maintain accurate stock registers and inventory records
- Issue materials as per approved requisitions and maintain issuance records
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management
- Conduct periodic stock counts and inventory reconciliation
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and safeguarding of materials
- Maintain store documentation, reports, and records
- Coordinate with procurement, site, and accounts departments regarding material requirements
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and security of the store
Requirements:
- Minimum Graduation preferred
- 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Store Keeper
- Experience in construction projects is mandatory
- Preference will be given to candidates having a construction industry background
- Experience in housing societies and infrastructure development projects will be preferred
- Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and store documentation
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications
- Strong organizational, reporting, and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain inventory accuracy
