We are seeking a dedicated and organized Storekeeper Assistant to join our hotel team. The successful candidate will assist in receiving, storing, and issuing supplies, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring that all storerooms are organized and operated efficiently in support of the hotel's daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries of food, beverages, housekeeping supplies, and other hotel materials.
- Store items properly according to hotel standards and safety requirements.
- Assist in issuing supplies to departments such as Kitchen, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Food & Beverage.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement logs.
- Assist with stock counts and inventory audits.
- Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the Storekeeper.
- Keep storerooms clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Support daily store and inventory operations as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hotel, warehouse, or storekeeping environment is preferred.
- Basic computer and inventory management skills.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
