We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Storekeeper to join our team in the F&B industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of food and beverage supplies while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, including F&B raw materials, beverages, consumables, and supplies.
- Verify quantity, quality, and expiry dates against purchase orders and invoices.
- Properly store goods in designated areas, following FIFO (First In, First Out) and food safety standards.
- Issue items to kitchen, bar, and service staff based on authorized requisitions.
- Maintain accurate stock levels, bin cards, and daily inventory records.
- Monitor expiry dates and report near-expiry or damaged goods promptly.
- Assist in monthly and yearly stock counts with the finance and cost control teams.
- Ensure storage areas are clean, organized, and meet hygiene and safety standards.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department for timely stock replenishment needs.
- Prevent stock variances by ensuring proper documentation and approvals for all stock movements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper in the F&B or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food storage, inventory management, and safety protocols.
- Basic knowledge of accounting or cost control procedures is an advantage.
- Computer literacy (MS Office, inventory management software).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
