Store Keeper - Joinery Warehouse

MD Design & Fitout is looking for a storekeeper to manage our joinery warehouse operations. The ideal candidate should have experience handling joinery materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring smooth material flow between warehouse, production, and project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming joinery materials

(MDF, plywood, veneer, laminates, solid wood, hardware, accessories)

• Issue materials accurately as per material request notes
• Maintain proper stock records, bin cards, and inventory logs
• Monitor stock levels and inform management of shortages or re-order needs
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of materials
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
• Prevent material damage, wastage, or misuse
• Coordinate with production team, site engineers, and suppliers
• Prepare basic reports (GRN, material issue notes, inventory reports)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a storekeeper in a joinery/fit-out warehouse
• Good knowledge of joinery materials and hardware
• Strong inventory control and record-keeping skills
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel / inventory systems)
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Honest, reliable, and responsible
• Physically fit for warehouse duties
