Role Description
- Transportation Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, order, assembly, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of materials and finished products.
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to ensure a smooth supply chain.
- Develop transportation strategies to improve delivery efficiency and reduce costs.
- Warehouse Management:
- Oversee the storage and distribution of materials and products within the warehouse.
- Ensure optimal utilization of warehouse space and resources.
- Implement inventory control procedures to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Monitor stock levels and perform regular stock audits.
- Order Processing:
- Coordinate and manage the order processing activities, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment.
- Work closely with the production and sales teams to align logistics activities with production schedules and customer requirements.
- Handle any issues or discrepancies related to orders and shipments.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory, and order processing.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations related to logistics and transportation.
- Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance metrics.
- Cost Management:
- Monitor and manage logistics costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
- Negotiate with carriers and suppliers to secure the best rates and terms.
- Prepare and manage budgets for logistics operations.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of logistics software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, WMS).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
