Store / Logistics Executive

Company Description Agrolt Solutions is a leading manufacturer and supplier of protected cultivation technologies, specializing in greenhouse structures and accessories for clients in India. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is located in Rajkot, Gujarat, an eminent engineering hub renowned for its proficiency in steel and metal processing capabilities.

Role Description

  • Transportation Management:
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, order, assembly, and dispatch of goods.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of materials and finished products.
  • Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to ensure a smooth supply chain.
  • Develop transportation strategies to improve delivery efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Warehouse Management:
  • Oversee the storage and distribution of materials and products within the warehouse.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of warehouse space and resources.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Monitor stock levels and perform regular stock audits.
  • Order Processing:
  • Coordinate and manage the order processing activities, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment.
  • Work closely with the production and sales teams to align logistics activities with production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Handle any issues or discrepancies related to orders and shipments.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
  • Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory, and order processing.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations related to logistics and transportation.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance metrics.
  • Cost Management:
  • Monitor and manage logistics costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Negotiate with carriers and suppliers to secure the best rates and terms.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for logistics operations.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, WMS).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
