Store Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations in our retail environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate a team, manage inventory effectively, and implement store policies to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all store operations, including sales, inventory control, and customer service.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Conduct employee orientation and ongoing training sessions to ensure adherence to company standards.
• Oversee payroll processing and bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage inventory levels through effective purchasing and stock management practices.
• Implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales potential and enhance the shopping experience.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security measures.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance among staff members.
• Utilize retail math skills for pricing strategies, budgeting, and sales analysis.
• Maintain effective communication with team members and provide leadership during shifts.

Skills

• Strong negotiation skills for vendor interactions and contract management.
• Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Experience in retail management with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Ability to manage time effectively while balancing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory control and store operations efficiently.

• Knowledge of marketing strategies to promote products effectively within the store.

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
