Coffee Shop Manager – Cairo, Egypt-

About Us

We are a young, vibrant, fast-growing specialty coffee brand preparing to launch in Cairo. We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Coffee Shop Manager to lead our opening and build a high-performing team from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all pre-opening activities, including recruitment, training, operational setup, and supplier coordination.
• Manage daily café operations to ensure exceptional customer experience and service standards.
• Create and manage staff rotas, schedules, and labour costs.
• Oversee inventory management, stock control, ordering, and wastage reduction.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and ensure timely procurement of products and materials.
• Train, coach, and develop team members in specialty coffee standards and hospitality excellence.
• Monitor sales, costs, and operational KPIs to achieve business targets.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and company procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ management experience in specialty coffee or premium café operations.
• Specialty coffee experience is mandatory.
• Pre-opening experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, supplier relations, and team scheduling.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and retain teams.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Passion for coffee, hospitality, and creating outstanding guest experiences.
