Store Supervisor / Storekeeper

About The Opportunity

Industry: Logistics & Supply Chain / Facilities Management operating across the UAE distribution and on-site stores sector. We support timely operations for commercial projects, ensuring material availability, accurate stock control, and compliant dispatch for multiple sites.

Role (primary title): Stores Supervisor — responsible for on-site storekeeping, inventory accuracy, and daily warehouse operations that directly support procurement, project teams, and field maintenance crews.

Role & Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records: receive, inspect, label, and store goods using WMS/ERP and RF-scanning workflows.
• Manage daily warehouse operations: supervise issuing, packing, dispatch, and returns while enforcing FIFO/LIFO and material-handling best practices.
• Lead inventory control activities: conduct cycle counts, periodic physical stocktakes, reconcile discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with procurement and site teams to forecast needs, expedite critical items, and minimise stockouts and overstock.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security protocols: maintain housekeeping, PPE usage, and safe storage for hazardous and high-value items.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation: delivery notes, GRNs, stock movement logs, vendor returns, and daily/weekly reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience (summary)

• Proven background in store supervision or storekeeping within logistics, construction, facilities, or maintenance operations in the UAE or similar markets.
• Strong familiarity with WMS/ERP workflows and RF scanning for high-volume stores.
• Experience preparing stock reports, performing reconciliations, and liaising with procurement and site teams.
