Job Summary
The Storekeeper will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and tracking all materials, tools, and supplies within the store. This role ensures accurate inventory records and efficient material flow to support operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify materials, supplies, and equipment against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Store materials in appropriate locations and maintain proper labeling and organization.
- Issue items to departments or site personnel as per approved requisitions.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all stock movements (inbound/outbound).
- Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels; prepare requisitions when replenishment is required.
- Conduct periodic stock checks and report discrepancies or damaged goods.
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety within the store area.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for deliveries and dispatches.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma or Certificate in Store/Inventory Management preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar inventory control role.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or software.
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word).
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physically capable of handling and moving goods as required.
