Job Summary:
The Storekeeper – FMCG is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role requires familiarity with inventory systems, attention to detail, and physical ability to handle stock, especially within cold storage or dry warehouse settings.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.

Issue materials to production or retail floor as required.

Maintain accurate stock records, data entry, and inventory system updates.

Monitor stock rotation based on FIFO/FEFO principles.

Conduct daily and periodic inventory counts and participate in audits.

Handle damaged or expired goods in compliance with company policies.

Monitor and record temperature for cold and freezer storage areas.

Coordinate with procurement, accounts, and other internal departments.
Required Experience & Skills:

Previous experience as a Storekeeper in FMCG or a similar warehousing environment.

Familiarity with dry, cold store, or freezer area operations.

Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo) and barcode scanners.

Understanding of warehouse documentation and inventory reconciliation.

Ability to perform physical work such as lifting and organizing goods.

Competency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.

Valid driver’s license is preferred.

Basic understanding of warehouse safety and hygiene protocols.
Work Conditions:
