Storekeeper

Job Summary:

Seven Seas Hotel is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Storekeeper with prior hotel experience and strong knowledge of IDS. The candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, maintaining stock records, and ensuring smooth coordination between stores and various hotel departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials and supplies.
• Maintain accurate stock records using IDS software.
• Issue materials and supplies to departments as per approved requisitions.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Purchasing/Finance Department.
• Conduct regular stock counts and monthly inventory audits.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of items as per hotel standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Accounts departments for documentation and reconciliation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Storekeeper in a hotel environment.
• Strong working knowledge of IDS system (mandatory).
• Good understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles related to stock management.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be available for immediate joining.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
• Previous experience in hospitality industry is required.
• Knowledge of hotel procurement procedures is an advantage.
