Storekeeper

Location: UAE

Experience Required: 5–7 Years (UAE Experience Preferred)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Storekeeper to manage day-to-day store operations, inventory control, and material handling. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of inventory management systems and material receiving procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Ensure proper stock control using FIFO & LIFO methods
  • Prepare and update stock reports on a daily / weekly / monthly basis
  • Handle material receiving, inspection, and proper storage
  • Issue materials as per approved requests and maintain documentation
  • Coordinate with procurement and site teams for material requirements
  • Ensure proper labelling, storage, and housekeeping of the store
  • Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to avoid shortages
  • Maintain records for audits and internal checks

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience as a Storekeeper (UAE experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of FIFO, LIFO, inventory control, and stock reporting
  • Hands-on experience in material receiving and inspection
  • Proficient in MS Excel and inventory / ERP systems
  • Good organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure

Preferred

  • Experience in construction / facilities management / industrial stores
  • Knowledge of basic safety and material handling procedures
