1. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies.
  • Store items in an organized and accessible manner.
  • Issue materials to production teams as per job orders.
  • Maintain accurate stock records using manual or digital inventory systems.
  • Prepare inventory reports and reconcile physical stock periodically.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the procurement team.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards in the storage area.
  • Coordinate with the technical and project teams for material requirements.
  • Handle return of unused or defective items to suppliers.

2. SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Proven experience as a Store Keeper in a shipyard, marine, or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of marine consumables, spares, tools, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with inventory software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials when required.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus

3. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or degree in Marine / Mechanical Engineering, Shipbuilding, or a related field
  • Knowledge of ERP systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month

  • Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Shipbuilding and marine : 2 years (Preferred)
  • Ship building, marine: 2 years (Preferred)
