Storekeeper
with strong experience in inventory management and warehouse operations, ideally within the marine or oil & gas industry

As a
Storekeeper at ZMI Holdings,
your primary responsibility is to ensure the accurate handling, storage, and tracking of materials while maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. Detailed responsibilities are as follows:

Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents, and reporting any damages, shortages, and discrepancies.

Unloading, organizing, labeling, and storing materials systematically in designated locations following proper handling practices.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records using manual and digital systems.

Issuing and dispatching materials to operational teams in a timely and controlled manner.

Conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.

Preparing and maintaining documentation such as stock registers, delivery notes, and reports.

Ensuring warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards at all times.

Operating material handling equipment safely and ensuring proper use of lifting tools and gear.

Adhering to Permit to Work (PTW) systems and maintaining awareness of all related procedures.

Applying ADNOC Life Saving Rules and maintaining a strong HSE mindset in all activities.

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and processes.

Coordinating effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and supervisors.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).

5-6 proven experience in storekeeping, warehousing, or inventory control, preferably in marine, offshore, or oil & gas environments.

Familiarity with inventory management systems and ERP software (e.g., MS Excel).

Basic knowledge of warehouse safety standards, material handling, and lifting operations.

Understanding of Permit to Work systems and HSE practices is an advantage.

Good organizational, communication, and time management skills.
-
Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks when required.
-
Relevant certifications (e.g., forklift operation, inventory, or HSE training) are preferred.
