Job Title: Storekeeper

Job Summary:

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory within the warehouse or store. This includes receiving, storing, issuing materials, and ensuring accurate stock records while maintaining safety and organization standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.

Check materials for quality, quantity, and damages.

Record all inventory transactions (receiving, issuing, transfers) in the system.

Organize and store items systematically for easy access.

Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) method when required.

Issue materials based on approved requests.

Conduct periodic physical stock counts (monthly / quarterly / annually).

Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.

Prepare inventory reports as required.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.

Always follow health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, or related field.

1–3 years of experience in a similar role (preferred).

Knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Basic understanding of warehouse procedures.

Good communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure.
