Storekeeper
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to supervise daily store operations and ensure accurate inventory management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling materials, tools, hire equipment, and technical equipment including cabling, fibre optic, audio, lighting, video, trussing, and staging equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations and ensure accurate inventory management.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, tools, supplies, and hire equipment.
- Maintain systematic storage with proper labelling and organization.
- Manage inventory across multiple store locations.
- Maintain accurate records of stock in, stock out, and current inventory levels.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
- Handle issuance of parts and materials based on approved requests.
- Maintain transaction records and proper documentation.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain records of company assets, tools, and equipment.
- Prepare periodic inventory and asset reports for management.
- Ensure store cleanliness, safety compliance, and secure storage.
- Support operational teams with urgent material requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as Storekeeper.
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures.
- Experience handling technical and hire equipment preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory systems.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
