- Receive, examine, and store incoming material and product shipments.
- Use inventory management software to keep accurate and current inventory records..
- Manage and arrange the storage area to guarantee effective use and simple item access.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to avoid shortages.
- Prepare and process orders for delivery in the site, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform regular physical inventory checks and reconcile with records.
- Address and settle shipment problems or disparities in inventory counts.
- Verify that the storage facility complies with health and safety laws.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill their inventory needs.
- Maintain a clean and orderly storage environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- prior experience in landscaping industry in UAE.
- Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
