Storekeeper (Spare Parts)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Storekeeper – Spare Parts to manage the storage, issuing, and inventory of vehicle spare parts. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of spare parts for trucks, trailers, and light vehicles and ensure proper stock control to support smooth maintenance and transport operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, check, and store spare parts in an organized manner.
  • Issue spare parts as per approved material requests.
  • Maintain accurate stock records for all spare parts.
  • Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels.
  • Identify and verify correct spare parts using part numbers and descriptions.
  • Maintain bin locations and proper labeling system.
  • Conduct regular stock checking and physical inventory.
  • Prepare GRN, delivery notes, and store-related documentation.
  • Coordinate with the workshop, procurement, and accounts departments.
  • Report slow-moving, fast-moving, and non-moving spare parts.
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper arrangement of the spare parts store.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Storekeeper – Spare Parts
  • Must have knowledge of vehicle spare parts (trucks, trailers & light vehicles)
  • Experience in transport, fleet, or automobile industry is preferred
  • Familiar with spare parts catalogues and part number systems
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word or ERP system)

  • Strong inventory control and stock management skills
  • Good knowledge of auto spare parts identification
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and coordination skills
