We are looking for Storekeeper to manage inventory and supplies in our construction/steel warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing stock levels, coordinating materials for projects, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
- Issue materials to workers based on project requirements.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of steel materials, construction tools, and equipment.
- Keep track of stock movement and generate inventory reports.
- Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams for material restocking.
- Monitor and enforce safety and security measures in the store.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
Qualifications and Skill:
- Minimum 4-7 years in a similar role, preferably in the construction/steel industry.
- Bachelors or certification in inventory management is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of steel materials, construction tools, and equipment.
- Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
