PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials to support manufacturing operations, and audit all processes regularly for accuracy and efficiency.

Provide effective and results oriented leadership for a team of hourly employees

Prioritize and supervise daily activity of storeroom personnel.

Create and implement training tools and documents for storeroom personnel.

Research Inventory discrepancies, Identify Root Causes, create and implement corrective actions

Coordinate shipping of UPS outbound materials for production requirements.

Perform customer service functions for internal customers.

Maintain Kit List Schedule Date forms through communication with Production Planning.

Print, file, and process completed kit lists.

Input completed kit lists

Input and file Daily Receivers.
-
Input Material Hand Receivers.
-
Input Inventory Adjustment forms.
-
Monitor Shortage Review Lists.
-
Plan and execute the Cycle Count inventory program to maintain accurate inventory records.
-
Coordinate the storage, labeling, manifesting, and disposal of hazardous materials.
-
Monitor the inventory level and upcoming production requirements of transformer oil.
-
Monitor and coordinate the disposal of scrap materials.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Thorough knowledge of inventory control, transportation practices, business systems and management are required. Must be able to efficiently manage multiple projects and priorities,
-
Demonstrate good judgment and discretion when working with confidential information.

Requires considerable judgment, ingenuity and self-motivation.

Requires strong computer skills in Microsoft Office products, and knowledge of a material/inventory control system,

Previous SAP software experience required

SAP Materials Management experience
-
Strong knowledge of material/inventory control and transportation practices.

Requires excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as training and interpersonal skills
Required Education / Experience
-
Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
-
Minimum of three to five years of experience supervising in an inventory/ warehousing manufacturing environment
Preferred Education / Experience
-
BS in Supply Chain Management
-
Purchasing/buying experience
-
APICS Certification.
