STP Engineer

India

We are seeking a Senior Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in the design, engineering, and execution of water and wastewater treatment projects (STP/ETP). The primary requirement is expert proficiency in AutoCAD to produce detailed engineering drawings and layouts. This role manages projects from concept through successful commissioning, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Engineering

  • Lead the detailed engineering design and process sizing for STP/ETP systems (e.g., MBBR, SBR, MBR, RO, UF).
  • Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, and Hydraulic Flow Diagrams.
  • Use AutoCAD (2D & 3D) to create accurate General Arrangement (GA) drawings, equipment layouts, piping layouts, and detailed fabrication drawings.
  • Perform design calculations for hydraulics, piping, and process equipment.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards and environmental discharge norms.

Project Execution

  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Prepare BOMs and BOQs; select and specify all mechanical and process equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors, clients, and multidisciplinary teams (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) for design approvals and project alignment.
  • Oversee site execution and commissioning, ensuring timely project delivery and quality control.
  • Troubleshoot design and operational issues in the field.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 5-7 years in water/wastewater treatment design and project execution.
  • Technical: Mandatory expert proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D/3D drafting and detailed design.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of various STP/ETP technologies.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional team coordination abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
