STP Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a qualified Maintenance Engineer to manage the operation and maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems.

STP Operations & Maintenance

• Operate and maintain sewage treatment systems (biological, chemical, and physical processes)
• Monitor parameters such as BOD, COD, TSS, pH, and MLSS
• Maintain equipment including filtration, blowers, pumps, diffusers, clarifiers, and sludge handling systems.
• Ensure proper sludge management and disposal
• ability to find out operational mistakes and suggest recovery solution

RO Plant Operations & Maintenance

• Operate and maintain RO systems including pre-treatment (sand filter, carbon filter, softener, dosing systems)
• Monitor RO performance: pressure, flow rate, recovery, and water quality (TDS, conductivity)
• Troubleshoot all operational related issues
• Perform membrane cleaning (CIP), replacement, and troubleshooting
• Maintain high-pressure pumps, membranes, and dosing systems

General Maintenance Duties

• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues
• Monitor and maintain PLC/SCADA systems (if applicable)
• Maintain logs, reports, and compliance documentation
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and safety standards
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors
• Optimize plant efficiency and reduce operational costs
• Handle emergency breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Environmental Engineering
• 5-8 years of experience in STP and RO plant maintenance
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment and desalination processes
• Familiarity with membrane technologies and biological treatment systems
• Experience with PLC/SCADA systems is an advantage
• Good understanding of water chemistry and process control
• Ability to read P&IDs and technical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Knowledge of HSE standards and environmental compliance
• UAE driving License
• languages known : English, Hindi, Arabic(Added advantage)

Working Conditions:

• Multiple site role with exposure to water treatment facilities
• require on-call support
• Manage multiple maintenance team and to assign job.
