Job Purpose

The Strapi CMS Engineer will be responsible for implementing, customizing, and maintaining the bank’s new website using Strapi CMS (Enterprise Edition) as the core content management platform. The role will also extend to utilizing Strapi as the central CMS platform for multiple internal bank portals (e.g., intranet, internal communication hubs). This position will work closely with the Head of Non-Core Banking Systems, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure the solution aligns with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and digital transformation objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and deploy Strapi CMS (Enterprise Edition) to support both external (bank website) and internal (intranet and portals) use cases.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture team to define deployment architecture, security configurations, and integration patterns.
  • Implement SSO (Single Sign-On) and SOC/Audit Trail features in alignment with the bank’s security and compliance requirements.
  • Work with vendors or Strapi Enterprise Support to manage licenses, vulnerability mitigations, and SLA compliance.
  • Explore and evaluate Strapi Cloud (PaaS) and AI capabilities for potential adoption in the future phases.
  • Integrate Strapi CMS with other enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, API Gateway, etc.) as per the digital transformation roadmap.
  • Ensure data protection, content governance, and access control policies are implemented according to bank standards.
  • Provide technical documentation, user guides, and training to marketing, operations, and development teams.
  • Conduct performance testing, scalability assessments, and optimize for security and reliability.
  • Support the bank’s plan to launch the CMS solution during 2026 by adhering to agreed timelines and milestones.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3–5+ years) developing and deploying projects using Strapi CMS (preferably Enterprise Edition).
  • Strong knowledge of Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL.
  • Experience integrating CMS solutions with SSO (SAML / OAuth2 / OpenID Connect).
  • Knowledge of audit logging, SOC, and security hardening practices for enterprise CMS environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and PaaS solutions.
  • Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerized environments.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
  • Ability to collaborate across technical, business, and marketing teams.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Strapi Enterprise Edition features (Audit Logs, SSO, Role-Based Access Control, Workflow).
  • Familiarity with banking or financial institution environments and related compliance requirements.
  • Experience integrating CMS with AI-based personalization or analytics modules.
  • Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
