About the Role:
Success for the Strategic Account Management team at Sunset Transportation is defined by the retention and growth of our customers. As an industry leader we deliver tremendous value in the form of actionable data to our customers and, as the Strategic Account Analyst, you will support those efforts by analyzing data, evaluating KPIs, and developing presentations for customer business reviews.
You’ll leverage analytics to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and address questions or challenges from both internal stakeholders and our customers. This position offers a strong foundation for growth within the Strategic Account Management (SAM) team and across Sunset Transportation—an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives on data-driven problem solving and is eager to make an impact in the logistics industry.
What Will You Do?
Analyze customer KPIs and operational data Identify performance trends and improvement opportunities Use data analytics to support internal teams and customers with ad hoc analysis and problem-solving Develop clear, data-driven presentations and reports for internal and external business reviews Assist internal teams with continuous improvement projects Create reporting, business review insights, and industry updates for strategic customers Effectively communicate complex ideas and processes with diverse audiences
What We’re Looking For:
Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field/equivalent work experience 2+ years relevant experience in Logistics or Supply Chain 2+ years relevant experience with transportation management systems and business intelligence tools Proficiency developing reports and dashboards using Power BI Working knowledge of system integrations (EDI, API, TMS/ERP)
