Strategic Business Development Manager

Industry: International Recruitment / Talent Mobility
Location: Mumbai, India
Reports To: Founder / Global Business Head

Role Purpose

The Strategic Partner – India will be responsible for developing and strengthening relationships across India to build a robust talent pipeline in India for deployment to European Union (EU) countries.

The role focuses on network expansion, institutional partnerships, candidate sourcing ecosystems, and driving scalable supply of compliant, job-ready talent for EU markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Network Development Across India

  • Build relationships with:
  • Training institutes
  • Universities & skill centers
  • Industry associations
  • HR consultants and referral partners
  • Create a strong candidate referral ecosystem
  • Identify high-demand talent segments aligned to EU workforce needs (Healthcare, Engineering, Manufacturing, Hospitality, etc.)

2. Talent Pipeline Creation

  • Develop state-wise sourcing strategies
  • Build regional channel partners
  • Establish long-term talent supply agreements
  • Create structured candidate onboarding pipelines

3. EU Market Alignment

  • Understand EU country-specific hiring requirements
  • Align sourcing strategies with EU compliance norms
  • Ensure documentation and eligibility readiness of candidates
  • Coordinate with EU-side partners for demand forecasting

4. Institutional & Strategic Partnerships

  • Sign MOUs with training institutes and colleges
  • Develop skill-bridge programs aligned to EU standards
  • Explore government skilling initiatives (NSDC, state skill missions)

5. Commercial & Growth Responsibility

  • Drive pipeline conversion ratios
  • Meet sourcing volume and revenue targets
  • Improve cost-per-hire through efficient channel strategy
  • Forecast supply trends and talent gaps

6. Brand Positioning & Outreach

  • Represent the firm at job fairs and industry meets
  • Conduct awareness seminars on EU career opportunities
  • Strengthen employer brand visibility in Indian talent markets

Experience Required

  • 7–10 years in recruitment, staffing, HR consulting, or skill development
  • Experience working with international deployment (preferably EU)
  • Strong pan-India professional network
  • Exposure to healthcare or technical hiring preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
