Strategic Marketing Associate

Coton Colors is currently seeking a <Strategic Marketing Associate> for our <Corporate Office & Design Center>, located in <Tallahassee, FL>.

JOB OVERVIEW:
The Strategic Marketing Associate plays an essential role in developing, executing, and analyzing marketing strategies that strengthen brand awareness, deepen audience engagement, and support sales growth. This position contributes to audience segmentation, PR and media relations, brand partnerships, SEO, media strategy and buying, and digital marketing performance. The Associate ensures that all initiatives align with business objectives while helping create meaningful connections between our brand and our customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (but are not limited to):
Strategic Marketing

• Developing marketing strategies using audience insights and performance data.
• Support cross-functional alignment with Campaign Marketing, E-Commerce, Design, and Customer Success.
• Coordinate strategic projects, timelines, and deliverables.

Public Relations and Partnerships

• Support media outreach, editorial submissions, and press tracking.
• Coordinate with brand partnerships and influencers.
• Maintain PR materials and documentation.

SEO and Digital Performance

• Collaborate with SEO partners on priority optimizations.
• Monitor SEO metrics and support digital content recommendations.
• Track and summarize digital performance results.

Media Strategy and Buying

• Assist with paid media planning and asset coordination.
• Communicate with external media partners and track campaign performance.

Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare reports across PR, SEO, media, and campaign performance.
• Identify insights that support future strategy.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field, or comparable experience.
• 1 to 3 years of marketing, PR, digital media, or analytics experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project coordination skills.
• Familiarity with GA4 or similar analytics tools.
• Interest in PR, SEO, digital marketing, and performance analysis.
• Ability to collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Klaviyo and Shopify is a plus.
