Strategic Partnerships Development Manager

Sonovy is an music technology start-up company providing music distribution, rights management, and global royalty tracking for independent artists and labels.

In this role, you will represent Sonovy across global digital music platforms and independent music communities, while also contributing to operational improvements and growth strategies.

Responsibilities

• Engage in direct one-on-one meetings with global DSP representatives (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.)
• Represent Sonovy in international independent music organizations such as DDEX, A2IM, WIN, IMPALA, including participating in discussions and delivering presentations
• Professionally represent Sonovy at global industry events (with a primary focus on London and New York)
• Collaborate closely with the Sonovy core operations team; participate in daily/weekly meetings on updates, improvements, and roadmap development, monitor processes, and provide operational support when necessary
• Contribute to growth and marketing strategies by providing recommendations based on prior experience, and take leadership in shaping new roadmaps
• Stay up-to-date with the music and copyright industries, maintain strong technical knowledge, and ensure Sonovy’s representation reflects current industry standards

 Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Interest in music distribution, production, digital content management, and industry standards such as metadata/ISRC/UPC ( experience is preferred but we provide training and growth opportunities )
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined work habits
• Ability to work freelance while still taking responsibility as part of a dedicated team
• Candidates holding U.S., Schengen, and/or U.K. visas will be given priority consideration

📌 Note: This position may be contracted either under Sonovy LLC’s New York entity or its Turkish branch. The specific structure will be determined by Sonovy, as both entities are part of the company’s operational scope.
