Our client, a leading company in cement sector, is looking for a Strategic Planning and Business Development Director.
Responsibilities

Prepare, update and report the long-term strategic plan of the group companies to top management on a semi-annual basis.

Coordinate strategic planning processes with all departments; monitor KPIs and manage required action plans.

Analyze new investment, business development, partnership, merger & acquisition and growth opportunities; prepare feasibility studies and valuation models.

Conduct market research, scenario analyses and risk assessments for alternative energy/fuel resources.

Analyze production, process, quality, maintenance, logistics and sales operations at a macro level and design efficiency-focused improvement projects.

Support investment decisions through product/volume/price/market analyses.

Carry out research and project development studies for domestic or international integrated plants, processing facilities or new operations.

Lead digital transformation, change management and sustainability-oriented transformation initiatives.

Present strategic reports, scenario analyses, financial models and competitive insights to senior management.

Report strategy, investment and performance data in a clear, analytical and decision-enabling format to support the CEO’s decision-making process.
Qualifications & Competencies

Bachelor’s degree from relevant engineering departments; preferably a Master’s degree.

Minimum 15 years of total experience, including at least 10 years in strategy, business development, investment, feasibility, M&A or process improvement.

Strong field experience in production, process, quality, maintenance, sales, warehouse and logistics operations.

Experience in financial modeling, feasibility studies, company valuation and due diligence processes.

Knowledge of Lean Management, Six Sigma, Kaizen or operational excellence methodologies.

Proficiency in SAP modules.

Advanced command of inventory management, QDMS and MS Office applications.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and strategic decision-making skills.

Advanced reporting, presentation, communication and leadership competencies.

Experience in managing change management and digital transformation projects.
-
Good command of English.
