Strategic Research Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a Strategic Research Analyst with expertise in Central Asia to contribute high-quality analytical reports on political, economic, and policy developments in the region. This is a remote, flexible, part-time role suitable for researchers, journalists, or policy analysts.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce well-structured analytical articles and policy reports based on assigned topics
• Conduct research on Central Asian countries (e.g., Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan)
• Analyze developments in geopolitics, government policy, energy, and emerging sectors (e.g., AI, digital governance)
• Incorporate credible sources, data, and where possible, local insights or interviews
• Deliver content within agreed timelines

Requirements

• Background in international relations, political science, economics, or related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of Central Asia’s political and economic landscape
• Strong analytical and writing skills in English
• Prior experience in policy research, journalism, or think tanks preferred
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Working Arrangement

• Fully remote, freelance/part-time
• Highly flexible schedule
• Work assigned on a per-project basis

Pay: 2,000.00TRY - 3,000.00TRY per month
