Role Purpose:
The Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across assigned categories to deliver cost optimization, supplier innovation, and risk mitigation for existing and upcoming contracts for FM sector in UAE market.
This role leads complex specialist sourcing initiatives, manages supplier relationships, and ensures compliance with organizational policies and ESG objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management

Develop multi-year sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and UAE FM market trends.

Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking to identify cost drivers and sourcing opportunities.

Define sourcing waves, value levers (e.g., consolidation, Value Analysis/Value Engineering, Total Cost of Ownership and supplier segmentation.
RFx & Negotiation

Lead end-to-end RFx processes: design, evaluation, scenario analysis, and award recommendations.

Execute complex negotiations to secure cost, service, and innovation benefits.

Draft and finalize commercial terms including SLAs, KPIs, penalties/incentives, and escalation clauses.
Supplier Relationship Management

Implement SRM frameworks for strategic suppliers, including governance cadence and performance scorecards.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovation pipelines with suppliers.
Risk & Compliance

Assess and mitigate risks related to supply continuity, financial stability, and regulatory compliance.

Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, audit requirements, and ESG standards.
Financial & Performance Management

Own savings pipeline and validate cost reductions with Finance.

Monitor commodity indices and design indexation strategies where applicable.

Track KPIs such as contract coverage, cycle time, and supplier performance.
Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with business units, operations, and finance to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals.

Support change management for supplier transitions and policy adoption.
Digital Enablement

Utilize eSourcing platforms, CLM systems, and spend analytics tools for data-driven decisions.

Lead process automation and compliance in procure-to-pay workflows.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree; MBA or professional certifications (CIPS, CPSM).

Minimum 8 plus years procurement experience, with strong background in strategic sourcing in FM fields.

Expertise in complex negotiations, contract structuring, and supplier management.

Proficiency in eSourcing tools, CLM systems, and analytics platforms.
