Duties

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
• Procure materials and supplies based on company requirements while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms with vendors to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Collaborate with teams to align sourcing strategies with production planning.
• Perform root cause analysis on supply chain to identify areas for sourcing.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality or delivery timelines.
• Prepare reports on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and market trends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management is highly desirable.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers.
• Familiarity with production planning processes and materials management systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
