Mission of the Role (What you’ll be doing):

We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team and focus on supporting a key national accounts. This role will be instrumental in driving vendor management strategies, optimizing costs, and ensuring the highest quality of products for our valued customers.

Key Duties & Accountabilities (Primary responsibilities & quantifiable measurements):

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for the national account, aligning with company objectives and customer requirements.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors to drive collaboration and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry innovations to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Negotiate and manage agreements, ensuring terms are favorable, and compliance is maintained.
• Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations, addressing any issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of customer orders and projects.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels for customer demand while minimizing excess inventory costs.
• Stay informed about industry regulations, market dynamics, and emerging trends that may impact the sourcing strategy.
• Prepare and present reports and analyses to support decision-making processes related to sourcing and vendor management.
