You will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day execution of strategic tasks including sectoral strategy, value creation, portfolio performance assessment, financial modelling, and investor materials preparation. This role is ideal for a driven individual seeking exposure to C-level strategy development within a fast-paced, multi-sector investment group.
Role Responsibilities:
Strategy Support & Analysis

Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans, sector deep-dives, and internal performance dashboards

Prepare structured recommendations to support senior leadership and strategic decision-making
Financial Modelling

Build and maintain financial models to support business cases, capital allocation, and scenario planning

Perform valuation analyses for potential investments and bolt-on opportunities
Presentation Development

Develop internal and external presentations for the board, investors, and senior leadership

Synthesize complex information into concise, visually compelling formats
Market & Competitive Research

Conduct in-depth research on sectors, markets, competitors, and macroeconomic trends

Extract strategic insights and implications using benchmarks, data, and industry intelligence
Investor Relations Support

Assist in preparing investor updates, earnings materials, and shareholder communications in collaboration with the Investor Relations team
Portfolio Monitoring

Track and analyze performance metrics across operating companies and investment platforms

Generate reports and actionable insights to support performance improvement initiatives
Required skills & Qualifications:

Experience:
-
3+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity
-
Exposure to diversified sectors is preferred (e.g., consumer, infrastructure, energy, digital, financial services)

Core Skills:

Strong analytical and modelling skills (Excel modelling proficiency is a must)

Excellent PowerPoint skills and ability to synthesize information into compelling messages and visuals

Excellent research capabilities and understanding of how to dissect sectors into various value chains to extract insights and strategic implications

Fluent in business writing with strong attention to detail

Comfortable working under pressure and managing tight deadlines

Education:

Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier institution
