Strategy Consultants are charged with identifying business critical issues, synthesizing key project findings, and translating those findings into strategic recommendations. Consultants play a key role in client communication and assist in providing guidance to Strategy Analysts.

Anticipated Start Date:

  • February 1, 2025

Responsibilities Include:

  • Executing on day-to-day project activities that are aligned with overall project objectives.
  • Synthesizing key findings from research and developing actionable project recommendations.
  • Creating client deliverables in PowerPoint and/or Excel format.
  • Coordinating and leading interactions with third-party vendors.
  • Mentoring project team members to promote professional development.
  • Participating in the creation of research tools that will be utilized throughout the organization.
  • Contributing to the creation of journal articles, conference presentations, and white papers.

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated candidates with strong critical thinking skills, keen attention to detail, proficient written and oral communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • A focus on client service and delivering high quality work output.
  • A commitment to the highest level of integrity and business ethics.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • The ability to travel on a limited basis – our staff members average less than four nights away per month.

Experience & Education:

  • At least one year of experience in strategy or management consulting, or one year of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
  • A master's degree in business is preferred.
  • A graduate or undergraduate degree in the life sciences is preferred.

The salary range for this role accounts for a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, market demand, training and experience, specific qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of our current base salary for this role is $105k-$150k with a 20% bonus target.

TIG has offices in Durham NC (HQ), New York NY, and San Francisco CA. Office location preferences will be dependent on availability.
