Strategy & Operations Lead – CIO Organization

We are seeking a strategic and operationally-focused leader to guide the vision, priorities, and ongoing evolution of our CIO Organization. As the Strategy & Operations Lead, you will play a pivotal role in advancing key initiatives, enabling leadership decision-making, and managing the internal systems and frameworks that drive operational excellence across the organization.

Reporting to the Head of PMO & Strategy & Operations, you will collaborate closely with the CIO leadership team to align strategy, execution, and operations, accelerating overall organizational impact. You will partner with leaders to identify gaps, optimize processes, enhance cross-team alignment, and communicate outcomes across the company. This is a player-coach role where you will lead by example, help improve team velocity, and champion opportunities to enhance execution, processes, and performance. You will also contribute to team development and training initiatives.

Your work will be critical to ensuring the CIO Organization operates with clarity, focus, and agility.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Lead the development and implementation of annual and multi-year strategic plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Drive execution of high-impact initiatives to enhance collaboration, efficiency, and decision-making across the CIO Organization.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CIO leadership team, surfacing critical priorities and providing actionable insights.
  • Improve cross-functional alignment to ensure CIO initiatives deliver measurable value across the organization.
  • Manage and optimize internal systems that support operational tracking and project management, demonstrating internal expertise and helping scale best practices.

Operational Effectiveness & Performance Management

  • Establish and maintain organizational rhythms, including leadership meetings, quarterly reviews, and offsite planning sessions, to ensure accountability and focus.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide visibility into key performance metrics and organizational health.
  • Use data to identify risks, optimize workflows, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Produce actionable insights, frameworks, and recommendations that enable faster, more informed decision-making.

Communication & Culture

  • Craft clear, compelling communications on strategic priorities, progress, and organizational impact.
  • Lead content creation for leadership forums, offsites, and internal meetings.
  • Manage internal communications on behalf of the CIO and leadership team.
  • Translate business insights and objectives into meaningful updates for the broader organization.
  • Partner with leadership to promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and operational excellence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $235,000.00 per year
