About Us:
Van’s Med Tec Transport is a trusted, professional transportation agency dedicated to assisting patients with mobility challenges in getting to and from their appointments safely and comfortably. Based in Danville, VA, we provide both local and long-distance travel services.

Job Overview:
We are seeking dependable and professional team members to join our growing team as Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Drivers. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their scheduled appointments while providing excellent customer service.

Schedule:

• Typical hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (varies based on patient needs) Some Saturdays
• All employees start as part-time, with opportunities for additional hours based on flexibility and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport passengers to and from their appointments in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assist passengers as needed, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Lots of pushing, pulling, bending, and kneeling.
• Maintain a clean and well-kept vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, passengers, and healthcare providers.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for at least 2 years and have reliable transportation to/from work.
• Have a good drivers record
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Exhibit professionalism, reliability, and strong customer service skills.
• Previous driving experience and/or healthcare-related experience is a plus but not required.
• Training will be provided by Van’s Med Tec Transport.
