Structural Design Engineer

Job Summary

Archpix is a leading engineering consultancy firm in the UAE since 2017, seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing structural systems for various projects, with specific knowledge of UAE regulations, codes, and standards. Proficiency in industry-leading software, including Revit, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze structural designs for various projects, ensuring compliance with Dubai's building codes.
• Perform structural calculations to guarantee safety, stability, and design reliability.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineering teams for smooth project execution.
• Create accurate 3D structural models and technical documentation using Revit.
• Mentor junior team members in Revit usage and oversee model quality and specifications.
• Lead and manage a team, effectively delegating tasks and ensuring project accountability.
• Conduct quality reviews of calculations, drawings, and deliverables to meet company standards.
• Stay informed on Dubai’s local codes and regulations, ensuring designs are compliant.
• Prepare and submit documentation for regulatory approvals as required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience, with a strong residential (G+4) portfolio of projects in the UAE and/or the Gulf region.

• 5 years proven experience managing projects in an engineering consultancy environment.

Licensing: Dubai Municipality Engineering G+4 Licensing.

Technical Proficiency in Software Tools:

• Advanced proficiency in Revit for structural modeling and documentation.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD Pro).
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality building codes and standards.
• Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to handle client interactions and team coordination.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Team-oriented with a proactive approach to challenges.
