Structural Design Engineer

We are looking for a competent and versatile Structural Engineer with experience across buildings and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of structural analysis, design codes, and advanced engineering software.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct structural analysis & design for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects

Develop Basis of Design (BoD) documents as per project standards

Prepare structural models using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, MIDAS Civil/GTS, CSI Bridge

Design & check:

RC slabs, beams, columns, shear walls

Foundations (raft, pile, combined, isolated)

Precast & cast-in-situ elements

Steel structures & connections

Retaining walls, seawalls, tanks, culverts

Structural strengthening & rehabilitation solutions

Perform lateral analysis, vibration checks, buckling analysis

Conduct construction sequence modeling

Prepare calculation reports, loading plans & design sheets

Review shop drawings & coordinate with multidisciplinary teams

Provide technical support during site execution.

Deep knowledge of international design codes:

• ACI 318
• AISC 360
• Eurocodes
• SBC
• IRC / IRS
• UAE Codes
• International Standards

Understanding of precast, post-tensioned, RC & steel structural systems

Ability to create professional BoD reports, technical notes, and calculation packages

Experience in marine structures, bridges, or special structures is a plus but not mandatory.

Bachelors Degree in the related field

At least 4 years of experience in UAE.
