We are expanding our team and are looking for experienced Structural Draftsman Cum Detailers to join our Head Office in Gujranwala.

Job Summary

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Structural Draftsman Cum Detailers with strong expertise in steel structure detailing and drafting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate shop drawings, fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and detailed steel structure documentation in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

AutoCAD Draftsman/Structural Draftsman – Steel Structure Construction Industry

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for structural steel fabrication and erection works.

2. Develop General Arrangement (GA), shop, assembly, and detail drawings as per project requirements.

3. Interpret structural drawings, engineering designs, and technical specifications accurately.

4. Prepare drawings for steel structures including columns, beams, trusses, platforms, staircases, handrails, and supports.

5. Generate material take-offs (MTO) and quantity calculations from approved drawings.

6. Coordinate with structural engineers and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance.

7. Revise and update drawings based on engineering comments, client requirements, and site conditions.

8. Verify dimensions, levels, tolerances, and material specifications before issuing drawings.

9. Ensure all drawings comply with applicable industry standards, codes, and company procedures.

10. Maintain drawing registers, revision records, and document control systems.

11. Provide drafting support to fabrication and construction teams during project execution.

12. Prepare as-built drawings and documentation upon project completion.

13. Ensure timely submission of drawings and technical documents in accordance with project schedules and deadlines.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Drafting Technology.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in steel structure drafting and detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Tekla Structures, Advance Steel, or similar software is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Good knowledge of steel connections, fabrication standards, and construction practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
