Structural Draftsman (Offshore)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Structural Draftsman to join our dynamic offshore team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for structural components of offshore facilities. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of engineering principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and other draftsmen.

Minimum requirements:

• ITI or Diploma in a relevant field.
• Certification in AUTOCAD.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Structural Draftsman in the oil and gas offshore sector.
• Proficiency in drafting offshore structures and related components.
• Familiarity with cutting sheets preparation and nesting.
• Only Freelancer will be accepted.
• Must be locally available in Qatar
• A holder of a valid Qatar ID.
• Can join immediately.

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Develop detailed structural drawings and shop drawings for offshore projects.
• Prepare cutting sheets and nesting for project components.
• Calculate material take-offs (MTO) and perform weight calculations.
• Utilize CAD 2025, Navisworks, and Tekla for model reviews and drawing extractions.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

• Project: QMFY, Mesaieed (MIC)
• Duration: Two (2) months, extendable
• Food, Accommodation & Transportation will be provided by the company
