Structural Draughtsman

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Structural Drafter creates detailed technical drawings and blueprints for buildings and infrastructure using CAD software, translating engineers' concepts into precise plans with specifications for materials, dimensions, and codes, working closely with architects and engineers to ensure accuracy for construction. Key duties include producing plans (plans, elevations, details), ensuring code compliance, coordinating with the design team, and maintaining documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drawing Production: Prepare detailed structural drawings, sections, reinforcement details, and 3D models using software like AutoCAD and Revit.
• Collaboration: Work directly with structural engineers and architects to refine designs and ensure they meet project requirements.
• Code Compliance: Verify that all drawings adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Documentation: Maintain organized project files, including revisions, and prepare documents for regulatory submission.
• Coordination: Liaise with contractors and site teams to clarify design details and resolve issues.
• Quality Control: Perform checks on structural documents to ensure accuracy and quality.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit).
• Bachelors degree in relevant field id required .
• Understanding of structural engineering principles and building codes.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to conceptualize spaces.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of construction materials and methods.

NOTE:

Candidates should have experience in Structural , Architectural Field.
