Job Description
- Coordinates with senior structural engineers to ensure correct implementation of the project design and coordinates the work of engineers within his specialty.
- Prepares and reviews structural engineering studies, design drawings, calculations and documents, and material and equipment specifications.
- Resolves specialty related structural engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards.
- Analyzes problems and determines critical factors for investigation.
- Organizes and conducts investigations and analysis.
- Participates in the development of new structural engineering methods.
- Provides expert advice on design processes or construction methods.
- Approves significant changes in specifications and plans, work techniques and materials.
- Determines and schedules work priorities.
- Prepares structural engineering proposals estimates.
- Ensures quality plans are implemented.
- Promotes safety culture.
