Structural Engineer

A Structural Engineer designs and checks buildings and other structures to make sure they are safe, strong, and built correctly. They work with architects, contractors, and other engineers throughout a project.

Main Responsibilities

• Design structural elements such as beams, columns, floors, and foundations.
• Use engineering software to analyze loads and stresses.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, and reports.
• Work with architects and contractors to coordinate the design.
• Review construction work and solve structural problems on site.
• Make sure designs follow building codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Knowledge of structural design and materials (concrete, steel, etc.).
• Ability to use structural analysis software.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
