Role Description:

CONIN is seeking a highly experienced Structural Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience to join our Dubai-based team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading structural design, coordination, and site execution to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved designs and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage structural engineering works from design through project completion
• Prepare, review, and approve structural calculations, drawings, and technical specifications
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and project teams to ensure structural integration
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards
• Attend coordination meetings and provide technical support
• Resolve structural design and site-related issues and propose effective solutions
• Ensure quality control and compliance with engineering best practices
• Support project handover and close-out activities
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage)
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction or consultancy projects
• Strong knowledge of structural design, analysis, and construction methods
• Proficient in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), or similar software
• Solid understanding of reinforced concrete, steel structures, and foundations
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Professional registration or certification is an advantage
