Structural Engineer - Steel Design

Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role for a Structural Engineer - Steel Design and Quantity Surveyor located in Dubai. The role involves conducting structural analysis and calculations for Steel Buildings to ensure the integrity and safety of steel designs. Responsibilities include creating and reviewing structural designs, preparing detailed quantity estimates, and coordinating with construction teams and project stakeholders. The engineer will also utilize relevant design software Staad, Etabs, etc, computer-aided design (CAD) software for drafting and modeling, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and Dubai Municipality approved for Steel Design for Ground + One Floors
• 3-5 years of professional experience in Structural Steel Design in Dubai.
• Proficiency in Steel Structural Design and Quantity Survey.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, Dubai Development Authority design codes and regulations .
• Expertise in Structural Analysis and performing complex engineering calculations
• Experience with design software Staad, Etabs, etc,, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for drafting and modeling.
• Attention to detail and ability to prepare precise quantity estimations
• Strong project management and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
• Experience working within the construction industry is a plus
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards and building codes
