- Develop detailed structural steel designs and drawings for a variety of construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to translate conceptual designs into accurate structural steel plans.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of steel frameworks.
- Prepare fabrication and erection drawings using CAD software and other design tools.
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to identify project requirements and constraints.
- Coordinate with fabrication and construction teams to resolve design-related issues and provide technical support during project execution.
- Conduct site visits as needed to assess project progress and address any design modifications or challenges.
- Ensure all designs adhere to relevant codes, regulations, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of design changes, calculations, and approvals.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards.
