Structural Steel QC Engineer

Job Title: Structural Steel QC Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect structural steel fabrication and installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards
• Conduct inspections for fit-up, welding, grinding, painting, and finished structural steel components
• Review fabrication drawings, welding procedures, and material specifications
• Monitor fabrication and site activities to ensure quality requirements are maintained throughout the project
• Identify defects, non-conformities, or quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and related documentation
• Coordinate with production, site, and project teams regarding quality-related matters
• Assist during client and consultant inspections when required
• Ensure all works comply with company standards, project requirements, and safety regulations
• Maintain proper documentation of inspections, approvals, and test records

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a QC Engineer in structural steel fabrication or construction industry
• Knowledge of structural steel fabrication, welding inspections, and quality standards
• Ability to read structural and fabrication drawings
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and reporting abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation work
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
