Structural Welder

Structural FCAW Welders needed in Pascagoula, MS for Shipyard-

Must have ceramic backing strip experience

Working 45-70 hrs/wk, after 40 hrs time and a half will be paid. Long Term Work!

Job Description:

A FCAW 3G/4G Structural Welder welds together structural metal components as specified by blueprints, work orders, or oral instructions.

The requirements for the position are as follows:

Must have FCAW 3G/4G Structural welding experience and ceramic backing strip experience.

Must successfully demonstrate the ability to pass a hands-on 3G/4G FCAW 3G/4G Structural welding test with the 3G position welded with downhill progression with ceramic backing and 4G welded entirely in the overhead position.

Requirements:

• Able to work in Pascagoula, MS
• Pass a urine drug screen and physical.
• Pass hands on FCAW and ceramic backing strip weld test

Testing-

1. 3G Flux 045 1” carbon steel beveled plate

2. 4G Flux 045 1” carbon steel beveled plate

Root/Fill/ Cap

Need 2 good bends on each!

All tools needed to test out!
